Mendenhall Glacier.  Shot from Douglas Island.  I almost didn't get this shot.  My old N8008 had a lot of problems and one of those was jamming at the end of the roll.  I of course didn't consider any of that as I was firing away on a gorgeous day in Alaska.  My heart sunk when I heard the jam.  Fortunately, I had my all manual FM2 with me and I could continue shooting for the rest of the day.  This is my premiere experience why you should always have a back up camera with you at all times on important shoots.  I had to go back to the cabin, lock myself in the bathroom, stuff a towel at the bottom of the door to block the light and rewind the film by hand back into the cassette.  That's how I got the picture above.  Nikon N8008, monopod, and  70-210mm. Film--Velvia.
