Greetings!

This section of my site is dedicated to my September 2000 trip to the Colorado Rockies and National Parks. I went with a tour group on this trip that I had arranged through Tauck World Discovery (formally Tauck Tours). Special thanks is due to Elaine Warden our Tour Director for her help and expertise in Colorado and its land and history and to our driver Jason for a safe journey up and down the mountain sides.  Thanks also to the kindness shown to me throughout the journey by my fellow travelers.

For you photographers out there, all of the pictures here were shot on slide film: Elite Chrome 100 EC, Fujichrome Provia 100F and Fujichrome Velvia.  I used a Nikon N90s with 20mm and 180mm Nikkor lenses.  I also used a Leica M6 TTL with 35mm F2 Summicron. I had a Nikon FM2 for backup, but used it sparingly.  I used a tripod, monopod, mini-tripod and a beanbag for support (even though I took many hand-held shots along the way).  I used skylight filters to protect the lens and a graduated neutral density filter for a few shots.  No flash was used.

Cheers!
George Bailey
